Cindy Berry is such a talented arranger! I love all her publications. This one combines well-known classical themes with popular hymns. I just play piano for my own pleasure, and I can sight read most of these easily. With a little work, I could do them justice, but no one listens to me play anyway, so I just play for fun. Someone like a church pianist would have no trouble with these at all, but the arrangements are so good that they sound more difficult than they are.
This book is wonderful to use for offertories, behind prayer time and for preludes and postludes at Church. The songs are difficult,the styles differ from song to song. I especially like how this book blends classical and hymn arrangements together. This book is so good I bought one for a musical friend as a gift and she too really has enjoyed the musical arrangements. I highly recommend this book.
Purchased this for the hub since he likes playing hymns but also likes classical music. Discovered my son (high school age) LOVES IT too! His piano instructor will have him learn one to play for enjoyment. Maybe an intermediate level would appreciate playing. I'm not a piano player by no stretch of the imagination, but a devoted listener.

Really creative, beautiful but honestly need a little (may be a little bit understated to say a little bit ;p) more intense pracitce to master it but again it all depends to who is playing it. Overall it's a great book especially for the prices at Amazon.

I'm no expert, but my spouse certainly is! She loves these arrangements, and I love to hear her play them. They're not too hard, not too simple, just a sweet balance of artistry, devotion and refreshment.

Awesome book for kids interested in raptors or nature, in general. My 7 year old daughter and I flew hawks and are starting to study falconry. This is a great entry into basic facts with an eye catching layout and design that appeals to younger kids. She reads this without prompting and loves quoting facts. I recommend it!
Raptor is a great book for educators. Large, full color photos capture both children and adult's attention. Great information without being too long to read. Silouttes make for easy identification. All the birds of prey in one book without feeling like too much information is crammed into one book. I really like this book and recommend it for anyone with kids or just wanting good, basic inforamtion on raptors.
Very nice book for my 7 year old son who loves raptors. Has a few typos inside. Like the speed of a perigrine falcon is not 100mph but closer to 200mph. Otherwise a great book

The book is written for a young adult (not child) which is good. He won't outgrow the book. Yet, it is loaded with information that any adult can learn from. Includes a Journal for him to record his observations. Glad I bought it.

I purchased this book for a 12 year old neighbor boy so he could identify the various hawks in our area. I looked at it, and it's such a good book I'm buying one for myself! I like this book better than the "grown up" one I bought for myself! I highly recommend this book to anyone interested in Raptors and who needs a good guide to identify them. It has a great "quick guide" in the back to identify the type of Raptor based on their sillouette in flight. Fantastic!
I do programs at a state park using raptors. This book gives a lot of facts that are written in a language both adults and kids can understand. I wanted a book that would do just that to balance out my technical knowledge. So done.
