I read this excellent book, here in Brazil. This excellent book has more than 200 photos with colour and some good maps also with colour. The woman that wrote this book, Sarah Carpin, made an excellent book. Please, I don't have money to go to the Seychelles islands, but I live in a Brazilian city with an ocean similar to these islands' ocean.I saw dozens of beaches, but the Seychellian beaches with photos in this book are excellent. The text of this book is also excellent.

I completely enjoyed this book! Granted, I didn't realize the technique was so simple so it was explained rather quickly, but the supplemental projects were really cute and something that you'd actually like to make (unlike other craft books...). I liked the book and would buy instructional books from the author again.

So easy to understand
Awesome book.
Hardly any content and the few pages that are there are amateurish. In the technique section there are approximately 50 pages on how to make petals, leaves and vines (along with some bonus projects) in addition to what tools and materials to use. You can find better tutorials on Pinterest or Google for free. Frankly speaking, it is a waste of money.
Some cute projects but even better are the techniques of more intricate building that can be applied to more projects that you design on your own with this book as inspiration. Not a ton of techniques, but I enjoyed it.
I found this and on whim decided to read it, very happy I did. Lot's of cute ideas for a novice like me. I hope to find another book by this author, she has simple approach to making polymer clay items and beat little tricks to help make them easily
This book is for the absolute beginner but really good if you have no idea how to do polymer clay embroidery. I've been doing it for a whole now and have advanced far beyond this book. I like to see it featured again because it is a lot of fun and in the beginner case very inexpensive to give it a try.

I have been looking for a book like this for years Many of the major trauma operations are difficult to get a grasp on if you haven't actually watched them before, or scrubbed on those type of cases. Having trained in a program that did not see much trauma, I saw almost none of the catastrophic trauma scenarios we all have nightmares about. We have read about them, enough to recite the steps for the orals boards, but we know actually performing the operation in the middle of the night, by yourself, is a whole different story. In addition, these types heroic procedures are often done with little or no advanced notice, so it is nearly impossible to get a quality video recording for teaching purposes.This book shows many of these procedures in great detail, with high quality photos of perfused and ventilated cadavers. I can't imaging the amount of work that went into performing these meticulous dissections, AND having the cadavers both ventilated and perfused. I commend Dr. Demetriades and his team on a tremendous job filling a void in surgical textbooks that has existed for years. I have never come across another book like it. The introduction by Dr. Mattox says it all!It has given me another level of insight on how to perform these trauma operations if and when the days comes when I am confronted with a disaster trauma patient in need of an emergent operation. It is without question the best trauma surgical atlas I have ever read, and can't remember being more satisfied with a surgical textbook purchase in my career.

Excellent trauma atlas. Highly recommended for anyone performing trauma surgery. The real life pictures really make a huge difference such that you can easily apply knowledge gained from this atlas to the operating room.
